Rocking K Supports 24th Annual Roasted Chile Festival in the Rincon Valley

Local Nonprofits, Farmers, Artists and the Community Come Together for a Southern Arizona Tradition

Rocking K Development proudly supported the 24th Annual Roasted Chile Festival, held Saturday, September 12, from 8 a.m. to noon at the Rincon Valley Farmers & Artisans Market. The annual event brought the community together for a morning celebrating local agriculture, food, art and the organizations that help make the Rincon Valley special.

Rocking K is proud to support local nonprofits, including the Rincon Institute and Heirloom Farmers Markets, whose work strengthens the Rincon Valley and the greater Tucson community. Together, the organizations host the weekly Rincon Valley Farmers & Artisans Market, providing a gathering place for local growers, food producers, artists, artisans and residents.

Throughout the morning, festivalgoers enjoyed the unmistakable aroma of freshly roasted chiles along with organic and locally grown foods and unique creations from Southern Arizona artists and artisans. The festival offered visitors an opportunity to enjoy a longstanding local tradition while directly supporting area farmers, makers, small businesses and nonprofit organizations.

For Rocking K, supporting organizations and events like the Roasted Chile Festival is part of a broader commitment to the Rincon Valley and greater Tucson community.
