Rocking K Juneteenth Celebration Honors African American Heritage and Community

On Saturday, June 21, Rocking K will host the Greater Vail Juneteenth Celebration at Lennar’s Mountain View Neighborhood.

This community event pays tribute to African American history and achievement, particularly those whose legacies are memorialized in the neighborhood’s street names. The event will run from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and feature cultural, historical, and family-focused activities.

From DJ Mista T and a free throw contest honoring UA Coach Frederick “Fox” Snowden, to water games, model home tours by Lennar, and local food trucks, the Juneteenth celebration at Rocking K offers something for everyone. Guests will also enjoy a silent auction hosted by the Greater Vail Area Chamber, an Arizona and Vail historic timeline activity, and raffle giveaways every hour.
